The A60 weathertight and gastight door (single/double leaf, Type A for cabin) is a high-performance door specifically designed for marine and specialized environments.
Constructed with Q235-B steel plates (or marine-grade steel) treated with hot-dip galvanization and epoxy coatings, paired with 316/316L stainless steel hardware,
it boasts exceptional resistance to salt spray corrosion (withstanding over 10,000 hours in salt spray tests). Its rectangular steel tube frame is reinforced through precision welding, and it features multi-layer EPDM gaskets, achieving weathertight and gastight performance with an air leakage rate of ≤0.5m³/(m·h) and resistance to hydrostatic pressure of ≥1000Pa.
The cam-action locking system and high-load hinges ensure stable opening and closing (meeting 200,000 cycle test standards). As an A60 fire-rated door, it integrates high-density mineral wool insulation, capable of blocking flames and heat for 60 minutes (with an average temperature rise of ≤140ºC on the unexposed side).
Suitable for Type A cabins on ships, offshore platforms, and specialized marine facilities, it can withstand hurricane-level wind loads, wave impacts, and 10g acceleration shocks, making it a professional sealed fire door that balances safety, durability, and compliance.
